How do I know #webcomponents are popular? Nah, not State of JS.
I'm a moderator over at dev.to and people slap on the Web Components tag whenever they want a post to get noticed, even though the post has nothing to do with Web Components.

good lord do I want decorators in js natively. There are a bunch of things that would become so simple.
Well that was the worst software update experience ever on #macos. Caught in a loop of System Settings failing to close and allow the Mac to restart. Took 6 tries. 🤦♂️
#React has done so much damage to this industry becoming synonymous with #FrontEnd stakeholders may not think someone needs to know #JavaScript, just #React.
The reality is I probably should have taken more time on disability to recover, but long-term disability isn't an option for me to provide for my family. The choices we’re forced to make based on benefits.
Going back to work after 6 months on disability is harder than I thought

My youngest showed me a Reddit post of some Gen ZZZ asking how people burned CDs because they didn't know either.
It's unbelievable how much knowledge has been lost in the last 30 yrs and yet people are frustrated when experts can't say how Stonehenge was built.
Anyone know how to pop a clutch to start a car? How about how to make your house phone ring upstairs to trick someone into picking it up?
Naturally, I told my kid that we didn't know how to burn CDs because aliens did it for us.
Today was the first day in 30 years I could wake up and not have to reach for my glasses to see. Thanks because yesterday I treated myself to Lasik surgery. This is amazing!
After getting hit by a car and left with multiple fractures I decided to better another part of my body: my eyes. Later this year when the doctor gives the OK to finally hit the gym: strength. Now it’s time to work on my mind and continue with physical therapy.
#2023 is all about bettering myself so I can help others.
I kinda miss working at a company with a flat organization structure.
I love that animals know how to comfort a human being in distress when human beings can’t figure it out.
As I grow older applying for Canadian citizenship becomes more appealing.

When people travel to the past, they worry about radically changing the present by doing something small.
Few people think that they can radically change the future by doing something small in the present.
This is the only real time travel paradox.
I have this minimal aesthetic to my #photography lately. Trying to explore that further, but also ramping up to get more of a cinematic feel. This #photo is an example. #FujiFilm

I was just reviewing from old photographs I edited from Canon and have to say moving to #FujiFilm was the best move I have ever made with my photography. Fuji color science is spot on and this X-H2 is an amazing camera.
I'm really gonna make an effort to ensure #2023 is filled with amazing photography. Usually New Years Day I'm out and about photographing the town, maybe tomorrow.
